10 Days!!

Wow! Troy and I have actually worked out for ten days in a row! Well, Monday was our day off, so I guess it's actually nine days. However, I really feel good that we're sticking with this. I know, without a doubt, that I probably would have not been as consistent if he wasnt' doing this with me.
Little back story for you, we decided that we wanted to do P90X together because, well, frankly, both of us are...lacking in tone? A little round a round the middle? Flabbity? It was really Troy's idea, and he has been so positive and gung-ho that it's really making it easier for me. We do have to work out before he goes to work, which means we usually start at about 4:15 or 4:30. (Yes, that's in the morning. This is the life of a Frito Man! And it's why we're both sacked out by 9:30!) I told him the first morning that it was REALLY good he was waiting for me in the living room because the bed was SO warm that I would have skipped it if he hadn't been counting on me to work out with him! We were waiting for the P90X DVD's to come in the mail, so the first week we just worked with Jillian Michaels on our Wii. I'm GLAD we did because that work out was intense in itself and was a good prep for the harder P90 course.

Today was Yoga in P90x, and it was pretty hard. I just did the best I could and took breaks as needed. It really felt like I was doing a lot of flailing around, but I can only assume that it will get easier. We were cracking each other up, though, which made it fun. (Tony Whats-his-face takes it so seriously!) At one point, I read the title of the next pose as the One Legged HAMSTER Stretch (instead of Hamstring) and just about died laughing! Of course, that led to several hamster jokes and we had a good time.
Anyway, I promise I'm not going to turn this into a workout blog and I DOUBLE promise that I'm not going to make you look at our "before" pictures. I don't want you to vomit on your keyboard! I do want to keep track of my progress, though, so I thought this was as good a place as any!

You two are just too funny together. I have no doubt that you will both do this and see the rewards. WTG!

I will love following your progress. :) Blogging my weight loss before Noah was such a help. :)
