Everyday Words

Today, in language arts, Reilly was to write words that she hears every day. (Exactly why this is a LA exercise, I don't have a clue. I'm not sure what skill this develops...) This is the list that she wrote:

1. Good morning
2. Neko
3. Supey
4. Time to start school.
5. What do you want to do?
6. Papa's home!
7. Dinner's ready.
8. It's time to get ready for bed.
9. What are we reading?
10. Love you!
11. Is your CD changed?
12. Are you all ready for bed?

I don't know why it tickled me so much, but it did!

One of Declan's spelling words on his mid week quiz: thorn

The sentence in which I used the word "thorn"?  *sings at top of lungs* "THORN IN MY SIDE, YOU KNOW THAT'S ALL YOU'LL EVER BE-E!"

Aaah,  I do love me some 80's music. And 80's hair. And shoulder pads.
