A Month?

Wow, can it be that it's been almost a whole month since I last posted? It just doesn't seem like it's been that long! And a whole holiday has gone by since I last wrote! WHERE HAVE I BEEN?
(Well, for one thing, I've been reading other blogs and wishing I wrote as well as they do, that's for sure. I've got blog envy.)
But, on a less whiny note, we've just been keeping busy, as has everyone else, I'm sure.
School is rocking along fairly well. I mean, really, it's nothing exciting. I wish I had a ton of pictures I could post, showing the fantastic things we've been doing, but I'm afraid that taking pictures of handwriting and math just aren't that scintillating. Sometimes I fear that I lack creativity when it comes to school.
But no whining. I'm not going to whine
Thanksgiving was wonderful! We ate lunch at my mom's house and my brother was here for the first time in eight years. (Wait, I mean that he was here for THANKSGIVING for the first time in eight years. He's been to town lots of times, just not for Thanksgiving.) That evening, we went to a little shopping center with some good friends and watched them turn on all the Christmas lights. Then we came home and ate corn soup and breadsticks, as has been our tradition for the past 10 years.
I love traditions.
I made my own turkey again this year, even though I wasn't hosting Thanksgiving. I just love turkey sandwiches so much! I used a bunch of the remaining leftovers to make turkey tacos which turned out very good.
OK, I'm going to stop typing now, as I think I've put you all to sleep and I'd hate for you to drool on your keyboard and short out your computer. Plus, I really need to start school with The Kids!

It's nice to see a post from you again. Happy to hear that things are going nicely and that there is no whining from you, at all. *giggles* You crack me up, girl! Turkey tacos sound yummy. That is something that I have not tried around my house. My oldest daughter is crazy over tacos, so I am going to have to try them out.
