You Ever Hear Something...

...that just makes you want to jump up and dance and clap? Even if there are other people around who will point and laugh at your utter lack of grace?
This song does that for me:

I'm reminded that I love and serve a God who adores me! Who thinks I'm the best thing since sliced bread, and who literally gave His life so that I could live with Him forever. I'm reminded that whatever things I have going on in my life, big or small, He CARES, and I can bring all things and lay them at the feet of His throne, then just sit on His lap and give Him a hug. He loves to listen to me talk to Him. Isn't that awesome?
I love the Lord!

P.S. He loves you, too! You should talk to Him!

I found your blog whilst I was idly googling for karate blogs. I probably would have just passed on by had I not noticed your reference to "Bushidokai," which, I happen to know, is mostly Oklahoma-based (or at least the Bushidokai I'm familiar with is)--so I surmise that you are a probably in Oklahoma, and a fellow homeschooler.

My wife and I have been homeschooling our children--oh, for about 12 or 13 years, I reckon. My oldest son and I train in a martial art called RyuTe.

Occasionally, I publish a little something about martial arts on my own blog. If you're interested in that sort of thing, by all means poke around...
