Two weeks ago, we had an emergency fund of around $1,800. It now sits at $300. While all of this arterial bleeding from our E-Fund is a little bit painful, I can't help but feel really, really, REALLY happy that not one single penny of this has gone on a credit card. We've paid cash for all of it! YAY!

Is It Over?
In the past two weeks, we've fixed the air conditioner in our home, fixed some things on the car (like, breaks, squeaking belts, and rattling engines that were caused by the fact that we were eleventy-billion miles past our oil change date.), and taken The Dog to the vet to get checked out because of her chewing her way out of the kennel. We've also scraped and repainted the trim on our house because we're refinancing and apparently for the VA to give you a loan, you have to actually have a house that someone would want to BUY should you have to be foreclosed on. The car goes back into the shop this Friday for some more repairs. I guess the axel boots need lubricating or something like that. I don't know, I'm not a car person. I just know that I trust my mechanic implicitly, so I believe him when he says that the axels wear boots. However, I'd have some serious questions if he started telling me that the crank muffler needs a new stole. Today I paid the Termite Man $90 to make sure we didn't have termites. (We don't, praise God!)
