I am definitely feeling better! I don't really know what caused (causes?) me to get the blues. Sometimes I think I suffer from Post-MS rather than regular Pre-MS because I seem more out of whack than before That Time of The Month.
I think that part of it is also that things have been a little crazy around here for the past two weeks. Between getting a new dog, having my purse stolen, having Holly get sick again, and then having Reilly get so constipated that I'm surprised that poop didn't start coming out of her ears, it's amazing that we've gotten anything accomplished around here at all!
Plus Troy's schedule of being off on Sunday and Wednesday is really kind of wearing on us a bit. It's nice for him to be off in the middle of the week, but he is so doggone tired all the time from never having two days off in a row. I really didn't think it would make that much of a difference, but it does. We try to make Tuesday like Friday - "WOO HOO! It's dessert night! It's movie night!" - but it's almost always a 12 hour day for him, so he's asleep on the sofa at 7:30. Then on Saturday, he gets home at 10:30, but he's still tired because he's had to get up at the crack of dawn, so it's not like he's rarin' to go run around and have fun. Then, again, he's ready for bed at 9:30. It's putting a crimp in a lot of different things.
And I'm trying not to let it get me down, but I think that it really came to a head this week with as crazy as everything else has been. There's a slight possibility that things may change and a couple of Monday through Friday routes may open up, so we're praying for wisdom for what to do if that happens. If Troy were to get on one of those routes, he would end up working 10 more hours a week, putting him at around 55 hours or so...anyway, enough complaining! God has a plan, and it is perfect! I just need to look to Him!
I've gotten almost all of our Christmas shopping done for The Kids, and I did 98% of it online! I'm so excited! Now I just need to wait for the boxman to come and deliver all the things I've ordered. I'm going to refrain from giving any clues to what I bought, just in case Reilly happens to read this post over Troy's shoulder or something...I'd hate to spoil any surprises! Let's just say that everyone will be pleased!
I did order two of something because I forgot to check my Amazon.com basket before I completed my checkout. DUH! One would think that the total would have clued me in, but apparently my math skillz haven't improved all that much! Oh well, luckily a friend of mine wants one of the things that I ordered two of, so I'm just going to sell it to her for three times what I paid for it and make a hefty profit! Hee hee!
