I'm Baaaaaack!

And would you believe that, after all that fretting and fussing over what to pack, I only remembered to pack one pair of pants? And I didn't even technically pack them? They were the capri pants that I wore on the plane on Friday!! It's a good thing I didn't spill coffee down my leg or anything! (I TOTALLY could have seen myself do that!)

The wedding weekend was wonderful fun! The rehearsal dinner was scrumptious and elegant and quite possibly the most wonderful party I've ever been to. *whispers* I got to eat steak. *drools* I wanted to ask for a doggie bag because I couldn't finish it because there were WONDERFUL hors d'oueuvre's before the dinner started, but I thought that might be a little tasteless. So I refrained. I'm sure my family is glad that I didn't embarass them like that!

The wedding itself was marvelous. I found it a little bit surreal that my cousin Preston, who I used to tickle mercilessly with my other cousin Natalie, was standing at the front of this beautiful church with his beautiful bride, Katherine. In my mind, he's still this little kid! My aunt sent me a link to their wedding announcement, so you can feel like you were there, too!

Oh, and here are some pics!

The first pic is just me, showing off my outfit! *grin* Then, the second is my cousin Natalie, my co-tickler, and her husband Andrew. The third pic is Preston and Katherine when they entered the reception, which was held in a "tent" in her backyard. The fourth pic is me and my Mommy! In the last picture, Preston and Katherine are having their first dance...on the pool!! Steel girders and plexiglass had been laid across the pool and lit from underneath for the dance floor! It was so cool!!
What a fun weekend! I'm ready to go back and do it again!

The happy couple is beautiful, as most bride and grooms are.

Lisa, I won't be at karate for awhile -- too hard on my joints till I lose some weight. I've lost 10 pounds already, but it will be a bit.

Check out my blog for an awesome ice cream cake recipe link. We're having it tonight for Mae's birthday. I'll let you know how it tastes. :)

Oh, and I'm halfway done with the smocking. I'll bring it in tonight so you can see how it's coming along.
