*BOOP BOOP BOOP, BOOP BOOP BOOP*
This is a breaking update from your First Alert Storm Team!
(insert serious music here)
It is raining in the state of Oklahoma.
We now return to your regularly scheduled programming.
Yup, it's spring in Oklahoma. The biggest headache about living right in the middle of Tornado Alley are not the tornadoes themselves but the ridiculous weathermen. Troy and I were watching the news at 5:00 when they began to talk about this HUGE storm that was heading our way...from Dallas...and how we were going to need to keep an eye on it.
And they have.
During every commercial, they've told us about the serious weather. Very serious.
Ummmm....it's raining. And you know what? It's really WET rain.
I swear, it drives me nuts. Every spring the news stations weathermen turn themselves inside out, vying to be the first station to "break the weather"...even when the weather isn't breaking! I've seen them prempt HOURS of programming for weather reports that, in the end, amount to nothing more than, "Hey, there's thunder and lightning and it's raining. Conditions are right for a tornado." Makes me want to poke my eyes out. Or right a nasty note to the news stations.
But instead I'll just gripe about it on my blog. *sigh*
