At Dinner...

Tonight, as we were sitting at dinner, I thought to myself, "Let's see...what did I do today that I can share as a scintillating conversation starter?" because, you see, I can hardly go for 10 seconds without talking, so the silence was KILLING me! (Well, as much silence as can be expected with a 6 year old and a 3 year old, vying for verbal position in the re-telling of "Larry Boy and the Bad Apple") So, my mind rewound the day, searching for the perfect story, and here's what I came up with....are you ready?
"I exchanged the pencil sharpener today!"
Now, I ask you, how's THAT for a perfect example of SAHM-ness! I was actually EXCITED that I had done this monumental thing!!
Now, to my credit, I didn't actually SHARE that out loud with Ched...but, at the same time, it struck me as so absurd that I couldn't help but share the whole process with him, which made him laugh heartily into his baked potato. And, let me tell you, I love making that man laugh!
